Illustrations by Jenny Campbell

Jenny Campbell has been a freelance cartoonist and children’s illustrator for almost 30 years, with more than 20 children’s books like Forever Home and Patrick’s Perfect Puppy to her credit and a nationally syndicated cartoon strip, Flo & Friends, distributed by Creators Syndicate in Los Angeles. In addition, Campbell has illustrated hundreds of K-5 textbooks for most major publishers and was a monthly contributor to Highlights for Children for more than a dozen years. A former newspaper feature writer, she is also a prolific speaker, and takes her interactive program on the road to schools and libraries throughout the Midwest. She also volunteers her time and talents to animal welfare organizations across the country. Her artwork graces not only Ohio’s specialty Pet Plate license plate, but several mobile spay-neuter vans that traverse the country. Currently, she lives in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and shares her 3-acre home and studio with Rizz, a chubby rescued tabby; and Tanner and Grayson, two enthusiastic hound mix pups rescued a year apart from a kill-shelter in Alabama.
